End of the Year and a head full of Memories :0)

Today I woke up thinking about Kevin, I am unsure why new years eve always makes me think of him more than usual. Could be that even though we never spent a new years eve with him we always talked in some way on this day. I suppose we still do since I woke up thinking I am going to make some "little food" today( aka lots of little things to make one very big plate) and invite Kevin and then Kevin will turn them down by saying "No thank you I am trying to quit eating".....and then make a plate full and go back for more lol. Anyway here I go getting lost in my own thoughts again

Today like every New Years Eve me and my girls are going to make a bunch of appetizers and snack on them all day and into the night. I am thinking of making Queso and chips, pigs in a blanket, a fruit tray, and my oldest daughter has talked me into making some chocolate covered strawberries. Also of course I am going to make some wings, and jalapeno poppers and maybe little cheese burgers with my slider pan. ( see told you a lot of little things to make one HUMONGO plate. should be fun :0) I will post some pics as we go about the day Happy New Years everyone

goodies for monsters :0)

my wonderful husband and trolls bought me a cake pop pan for Christmas so of course I had to try it out! These are so fun to make and eat I had a hard time getting them dipped but just turned out that I did not put the pop stick in the cake far enough to hold it good. After I figured that part out all was good they were super fun to make I cant wait to get them to my 2 monster nieces

 

New Year New Blog????

As the New Year is almost here I have been giving some thought to what new year resolutions I am going to do this year. First and most important I am going to work  hard to be a better Wife,Mother, Daughter, Sister, and Friend. Often I find myself stuck in my own little world and have to be dragged out ( kicking and screaming) and brought back to reality. ( my husband is awesome at helping me with this )
I also have been thinking for some time about starting a blog of my own. I read other peoples blogs everyday so maybe it is time to share a little bit of my craziness with the rest of the world.( or who ever is following me )
I hope for the new year that everyone who is reading this has a year filled with love, and good health. That what ever direction they are going in life they get exactly where they want to be, and that they always remember to be thankful for the little things in life.
